The most awesomest family vacation EVER

In October 2012, we took the best family vacation on the Disney Wonder.  It was a special Pixar Cruise that went from LA to San Francisco then to San Diego and Ensenada.  It didn't matter because there was so much to do we didn't get off the ship once!

Here's our family on formal night with the Captain

One of the main reasons for the trip was to celebrate Amy Murakami's birthday.  It was so fun to go with their family as we are both huge Disney fans!

Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge at dawn...

The grand lobby with a pretty bronze statue of Ariel

Here's us with Alcatraz in the background after a delicious buffet breakfast

There were so many awesome characters to meet and special Pixar ones too

We loved coming back to our room to the next day's itinerary and a special and different "towel" animal each night

The Kids Club was so much fun but Ashley was too young for it... she won't be next time!

A special character breakfast with Minnie and all her friends

There was cool Pixar art all over the ship

Here's us at our one of our favorite restaurants Animator's Palate, the room starts out black and white then turns into color as the dinner progresses

There were special menus for the kids every night - here's one in 3D!

Jimmy slept in the bunk bed and Ashley learned how to climb a ladder on this trip. Here's them sharing a special moment.

Pirate night!  Complete with fireworks at sea.

Okay, this was our FAVORITE towel animal

Sometimes you can meet a princess just walking down the hallway

Jimmy literally went down this slide 180 times

A yummy brunch at Palo - the gourmet adults-only restaurant

On the first night of the cruise, Jimmy asked "Can we live here forever?"

Oh Disney Wonder - how we will miss you.  Till we meet again!
